The casement windows had no trim whatsoever along with plate glass. Most of the extra-large double hung windows had sliders inserted on the bottom sash over a panel. On the Hudson side, the upper sashes lacked the leaded glass transoms that were a feature of the 2nd and 3rd floors. All the large windows with transoms and most of the smaller double hung windows in the house had Sierra Pacific sash replacements along with casement windows replacing plate glass. Almost all of the windows were replaced by Lomax Window and Door.

Fireplace wood paneling added in 1984 was removed in 2018, exposing the original brick, providing a backing for the handmade Motawi Tiles featuring Louis Sullivan art tile reproductions. Turn-of-the-century Buckeye firebox capable of burning both coal and wood.

Leaded glass from historic plain sawn doors reset in quarter sawn red oak. Custom folding Murphy bed constructed on site. Park Hill OPC Church pews obtained at the time of demolition for the bench over the subwoofer. The quarter-sawn oak used on the built-in is particularly fine in its grain pattern. Almost all the oak woodwork in the house is finished with shellac which was the original finish in this house. We have added a satin water based poly to the create durability and a soft glow,

Cannibalized original old growth heartwood yellow pine flooring was reused in the southwest bedroom on the second floor. The yellow pine was replaced with rift-sawn red oak over in-floor heating in the sitting room.
