As in the sitting room the casement window was plate glass with no trim. This was covered with a mirror when the house was purchased. The double hung windows in both the dining room and sitting room were truncated at the bottom of the lower sash with a panel and replaced with sliders. The full wall built-in also covered the transom window in the dining room.
The vintage brass chandelier and canopy were restored and rewired on site. Sterno glass was engraved in Denver on an engraving lathe replicating the Arts and Crafts Greek key pattern found on the chandelier.
The quarter-sawn oak chair rail and battens frame Bradbury “Thistle in Forest” wallpaper. The overlap of the battens simplified installation.
The dining table is a fusion of two used dining sets from the exact same model to create seating for ten.
The restored pocket doors are fully functional.
Frame made onsite for hand hammered copper artwork. Gustav Klimt print of “The Kiss.”
